Integration Settings

Connecting an integration turns it on for your company. Integration settings on an appointment type decide which services actually use it. That distinction matters: a roofing company wants a CompanyCam project for every inspection and re-roof, but not for the office consultation that never leaves the building.

Where to find integration settings

  1. Navigate to Setup > Appointment Types.
  2. Click the appointment type you want to configure.
  3. Open the Settings tab and scroll to the integration sections at the bottom.
  4. Toggle what you need, then click Save Changes.

Each connected integration that supports per-service settings gets its own section, labeled with its name and logo.

Note: You'll only see a section for an integration that's connected and active under Setup > Integrations. If you expected a section and don't see one, check the connection first — see Managing Connections.

CompanyCam

CompanyCam has two independent toggles. Both are off by default on a new appointment type.

Auto-create CompanyCam Project

When this is on, booking an appointment of this type creates a matching CompanyCam project automatically — named and addressed from the booking, so your crew can open the CompanyCam app and find the job waiting for them.

Turn it on for: field work where photos are part of the job — inspections, repairs, installs, re-roofs, restoration.

Leave it off for: phone consultations, office visits, and internal appointment types your team creates by hand.

Sync Booking Photos to CompanyCam

When this is on, photos the customer attached during booking are uploaded into the CompanyCam project. Your crew arrives already knowing what they're walking into.

This pairs with a photo upload booking question — that's where the customer's photos come from. If you turn photo sync on and the appointment type has no photo upload question, Driive flags it right in the settings panel, because there's nothing to sync. Add the question on the Questions tab and the warning clears. See Booking Questions.

Tip: Photo sync is most valuable on estimate and inspection types. A photo of the actual leak, uploaded before anyone gets in a truck, is often the difference between one visit and two.

For the full picture of what the integration does — linking existing projects, viewing photos on an appointment, and requests that arrive from CompanyCam — see CompanyCam.

Settings are per appointment type

Nothing here is global. Two types on the same crew can behave completely differently, and that's usually the point:

When you duplicate an appointment type, its integration settings come along with it — handy when you're setting up a family of similar services.
