Deleting an Organization
If you close a location, retire a brand, or consolidate operations, you can delete an organization from your account. Deleting an organization removes its team members from your subscription, so you stop paying for seats you no longer use.
Warning: Deleting an organization is permanent. Everything inside it is destroyed and cannot be recovered. If you're unsure, export anything you need before you delete.
Who can delete an organization
Only billing account managers can delete organizations, and only from the account portal. Organization admins can't delete an organization from inside it — this keeps a destructive, billing-affecting action with the people responsible for the account.
How to delete an organization
- Open the account portal from your user menu and go to Organizations.
- Select the ⋮ menu on the organization's row, then Delete organization.
- Review what will be deleted, type the organization's exact name to confirm, and select Delete organization.
The organization disappears from your account immediately. Cleanup finishes in the background within a few minutes.
What gets deleted
Everything belonging to the organization:
- All appointments, customers, and service requests
- All team members, teams, and their schedules
- Booking pages, booking forms, and website widgets
- Connected calendars and integrations
- Phone numbers (released back to the carrier)
Team members who also belong to other organizations keep their access there — only their membership in the deleted organization is removed.
How billing is affected
- Seats adjust automatically. The deleted organization's active and pending team members stop counting toward your billable seats, and your subscription quantity updates on its own — you don't need to contact support.
- Your subscription continues. Deleting an organization doesn't cancel your subscription or close your account. To stop billing entirely, see Cancelling Your Subscription.
- Invoices are unaffected. Past invoices remain available on the Billing page.
