Navigating the Calendar
The Driive calendar is designed to help you get to the right date and the right people fast. Here's how to move around and control what you see.
Moving between dates
Forward and back buttons
At the top of the calendar, you'll find left and right arrow buttons next to the current date label. Click them to move:
- Month view — One month forward or back.
- Week view — One week forward or back.
- Day view — One day forward or back.
Jump to today
Click the Today button to instantly return to the current date, no matter how far into the past or future you've navigated. This is especially useful when you've been planning ahead and need to snap back to what's happening right now.
Date picker
The calendar panel includes a mini calendar (date picker) that lets you jump to any specific date. Click a date to navigate directly to it. The main calendar updates immediately to show the selected date in your current view mode.
Filtering by user or team
The calendar panel displays your Users and Teams as checkbox lists. Use these to control whose appointments appear on the calendar:
- Select individual users — Check one or more names to show only their appointments.
- Select a team — Check a team to show everyone on it at once.
- Deselect — Uncheck people to hide their events, then selectively add back the ones you want to see.
When you filter to specific users, the calendar only shows their Driive appointments and synced external events. This is helpful when you're dispatching for a specific crew or reviewing one technician's workload.
Tip: In Day view, each selected user gets their own column. Filtering to three users gives you a clean three-column layout. See Viewing Team Schedules for more.
Combining navigation and filters
Navigation and filters work together. For example, you can:
- Set the date — Use the date picker to jump to next Thursday.
- Switch the view — Select Day view for a detailed look.
- Filter the team — Check only the two technicians assigned to a specific area.
Now you're looking at exactly the schedule you need — two people, one day, full detail.
