Customer Confirmation Portal

After a customer books an appointment, they land on their personal booking page — a self-service portal where they can review their appointment details, add the event to their calendar, and reschedule or cancel if needed.

What customers see

The portal displays the key details of the booked appointment:

  • Date and time — The scheduled appointment date and time, shown in the customer's timezone
  • Service type — The name of the appointment type they booked
  • Location — The service address they provided during booking
  • Who's coming — The technician(s) assigned to the visit

This gives customers a clear summary so they know exactly what to expect.

How customers access the portal

Customers reach their booking page in two ways:

  1. Immediately after booking — After clicking Confirm Booking, the customer lands on the page automatically.
  2. Via their confirmation — The booking confirmation includes a link back to the page. Customers can return to it anytime.

The link is unique to each appointment, so it always shows the correct details. Your team can also grab it — it's the same public link behind Copy Public Link on the appointment.

Add to Calendar

Customers can add the appointment to their personal calendar straight from the portal:

  • Click the Add to Calendar button.
  • Choose Google Calendar or Outlook — the event opens pre-filled with the appointment date, time, location, and service details, ready to save.

This helps customers remember their appointment without manually entering it into their calendar.

Rescheduling

If a customer needs to change their appointment time, they can do it directly from their booking page:

  1. Click the Reschedule button.
  2. Browse the calendar of currently available time slots.
  3. Select a new date and time.
  4. Confirm the change.

The appointment updates instantly on your side, and Driive sends the reschedule notification (if enabled for the appointment type) so everyone has the new details.

Canceling

Customers can also cancel their appointment from their booking page:

  1. Click the Cancel button.
  2. Provide a reason for the cancellation — this is required, so you always know why.
  3. Confirm with Cancel Appointment.

The appointment moves to Canceled in Driive, and both the customer and your team are notified based on your notification settings.

What your team sees

When a customer reschedules or cancels through their booking page, the changes appear in your Driive account immediately:

  • Rescheduled appointments — The new date and time show on the appointment and your calendar right away.
  • Canceled appointments — The appointment shows the Canceled status, with the customer's reason visible on the appointment. Driive also raises a Customer canceled issue in your Inbox so the cancellation gets a human look — maybe a quick call wins the job back, or a Reschedule gets them back on the books.

Your team receives notifications based on your notification settings.
