Service Listing Mode

Not every business needs a routing form. If your customers already know what service they want, the Appointment Type List mode gives them a clean, simple way to pick a service and book — no questions up front.

How it works

When your booking page is set to the Appointment Type List mode, customers see your active appointment types displayed as cards. Each card shows:

  • Service name — The name of the appointment type, with its icon and color
  • Description — A brief summary of what the service covers

Customers click the service they want, and Driive takes them straight into the booking flow for that appointment type — contact info, booking questions, and time selection.

When to use listing vs. routing

Use the appointment type list when...Use the routing form when...
You offer a small number of services (under 6-8)You have a large or complex service catalog
Service names are self-explanatory to customersCustomers may not know what service they need
You want the fastest possible booking experienceYou need to qualify leads before they book
You're just getting started with DriiveYou want to capture detailed info up front

You can always switch between modes as your business evolves. Start with the list and add a routing form later when you need more sophistication.

Setting up the appointment type list

  1. Navigate to Setup > Routing Form in the left sidebar.
  2. Select the Appointment Type List mode.
  3. Save your changes.

That's it. Your booking page will now show a list of your active appointment types instead of a routing questionnaire.

Controlling which services appear

The list shows your Active appointment types. To keep a service off your booking page without deleting it:

  1. Go to Setup > Appointment Types.
  2. Open the appointment type you want to hide.
  3. Set it to Inactive.

This is useful for appointment types that your team creates manually (like "Follow-Up Visit" or "Warranty Call") or seasonal services that aren't currently offered.

Tip: Give each type a clear, customer-facing name and a short description — that's exactly what customers see on the cards.

Even in Appointment Type List mode, you can share direct links to specific appointment types. This skips the list entirely and takes customers straight into the booking flow for that service.

This is perfect for targeted marketing — include a direct link in an email about a specific service, and the customer doesn't have to browse the list at all.
