What Is Driive?
Driive is an appointment scheduling platform built specifically for home-service businesses. It gives you one place to capture every customer request, see exactly what needs your attention, and get jobs on the calendar — so you can spend less time on the phone and more time on the job.
Who is Driive for?
Driive is designed for businesses that send crews or technicians to customers' homes. If your day revolves around managing a schedule of on-site visits, Driive was built for you.
Industries that use Driive include:
- Roofing
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Landscaping and lawn care
- Pest control
- Cleaning and janitorial services
- Painting
- Garage doors
- General contracting
- Solar installation
- Pool and spa services
Whether you're a solo operator or a company with multiple crews, Driive scales with your business.
How Driive works
Everything in Driive flows through three simple ideas:
- Requests arrive from every channel. When a customer reaches out — through your booking page, a phone call, a text, an email, or a note your team logs by hand — Driive captures it as a request: a record of what the customer needs, in their own words.
- The Inbox surfaces what needs a human. Requests that are ready can book themselves. Everything else — missing details, approvals, leads to review — lands in your Inbox with a plain-language reason, so nothing slips through the cracks.
- Appointments get scheduled. When a request is ready, Driive creates the appointment — the scheduled commitment on your calendar. Pick a time yourself, or share a booking link and let the customer choose.
What can you do with Driive?
Capture requests from every channel
New leads don't have to come through one door. Driive creates a request whether the customer books on your website, calls in, texts, or tells you about a leaking roof after the storm while you're on another job.
- Booking pages and website widget — Customers describe what they need and, if everything checks out, pick their own time.
- Dot, Driive's AI assistant — Answers your calls and chats around the clock and creates requests from the conversation, complete with transcripts and recordings.
- Manual entry — Click New Request to log a phone-in or walk-in in seconds.

Triage from the Inbox
The Inbox is your home base — a single, shared queue of everything that needs a human. Each item carries a reason chip (like Needs information, Needs approval, or Needs scheduled) so you know why it's there at a glance. Fix the underlying need — gather the details, approve, or pick a time — and the item clears itself.

Schedule and manage appointments
Every appointment moves through five clear statuses: Needs Scheduled, Scheduled, En Route, Completed, and Canceled.
- Book it yourself — Click Schedule Appointment to put a job on the calendar in four quick steps, time included.
- Find a Time — Pick from a grid of open slots based on your team's real availability, with drive-time info built in.
- List and Calendar views — Track every appointment your way, and see your team's day, week, or month at a glance.

Keep every customer in one place
Every person who books becomes a customer in Driive. Track their status (Lead, Customer, or Inactive), contact details, tags, notes, and full appointment history — no separate CRM needed for day-to-day scheduling.

Define the services you offer
Appointment types describe the services customers can book — "Roof Inspection," "AC Tune-Up," "Drain Cleaning" — each with its own duration, booking questions, buffer times, and team assignments. Routing forms ask smart questions up front to send each customer to the right service, and lead scoring automatically qualifies incoming requests.

Organize your team
Group your people into teams (e.g., "Roofing Crew A," "HVAC Techs") and let Driive route appointments to whoever's eligible and available.
- Roles and permissions — Admin, Member, and Restricted roles keep sensitive data safe.
- Per-person availability — Override business hours for individual users, generally or per team.
- Team-based routing — Direct bookings to the right crew automatically.

Calendar sync
Connect your Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook so Driive knows when you and your team are already booked. Appointments created in Driive show up on your connected calendar, and existing events block off time so you never double-book.
Integrations
Driive connects with the tools you already use:
- Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook — Two-way calendar sync.
- CompanyCam — Attach project photos directly to appointments.
- Webhooks and API — Get real-time events for appointments, requests, customers, and issues, and build custom integrations with your existing software.

How Driive fits into your day
Here's what a typical day looks like for a Driive user:
- Morning — Open your Inbox. Requests that came in overnight are waiting at the top, each tagged with why it needs you. Work down the list: gather details, approve, schedule.
- Mid-day — A customer fills out your booking form. It qualifies, they pick a time, and the appointment lands on your calendar as Scheduled — no phone call required. Another request needs approval, so it appears in your Inbox instead.
- On-site — Your technician marks the appointment complete from their phone.
- End of day — Clear the last items from your Inbox. When the badge hits zero, you're caught up — and tomorrow's schedule is already on the calendar.
