Dashboard Overview

After completing onboarding, Driive opens to your Inbox — your home base. This is where you triage requests, manage appointments, configure your services, and keep your team organized. This article walks through every section of the interface so you know where to find things.

The left sidebar is your main navigation. It's organized into logical groups that match how you run your business.

These are the tools you use daily to run your schedule.

ItemWhat it does
InboxYour landing surface — a unified queue of everything that needs a human, covering both requests and appointments. A count badge next to it shows how many open issues are waiting; when it reads zero, you're caught up.
RequestsEvery customer request from every channel — your booking page, phone calls answered by Dot, texts, emails, and requests your team logs by hand. Filter, search, and work each one until it becomes an appointment.
AppointmentsEvery appointment across its five statuses (Needs Scheduled, Scheduled, En Route, Completed, Canceled). Switch between List and Calendar views — including the Dispatch board — and click Schedule Appointment to book a job yourself.
CustomersYour built-in CRM. Search and filter customers, track their status (Lead, Customer, Inactive), and view their full appointment history.
CompanyCamAccess CompanyCam project photos linked to your appointments. This item only appears when the CompanyCam integration is connected.

Note: The Calendar lives inside the Appointments page — open Appointments and use the view toggle to switch between the list and the calendar.

Shortcuts

Below Setup, your saved Shortcuts are listed for one-click access to pre-configured booking links. See the Key Concepts and Glossary for what shortcuts can do.

Dot

At the bottom of the sidebar, admins see the Dot card — the home of Driive's AI assistant. It shows whether Dot is answering your calls and chats, along with your Dot Credits balance.

Schedule Appointment button

The Schedule Appointment button on the Appointments page lets you create an appointment yourself — no booking form required. This is useful when a customer calls in and you want to get them on the schedule immediately.

Click it and move through four quick steps: pick the appointment type, select a date and time (and who's assigned), choose or create the customer, and confirm the details. The appointment lands on your calendar as Scheduled right away.

Profile settings

Click your avatar or name in the lower-left corner of the sidebar to access your personal settings.

From here you can:

  • Profile — Update your name, profile photo, and contact details
  • Notifications — Set your personal notification preferences
  • External Calendars — Connect your own Google or Outlook calendar
  • Billing — Manage your subscription (shown if you manage the billing account)
  • Log out — Sign out of Driive

These settings are tied to your user account, not your organization.

Switching organizations

If you belong to more than one Driive organization, the same avatar menu includes a Switch Organization section.

How to use it:

  1. Click your avatar or name in the lower-left corner of the sidebar.
  2. Under Switch Organization, you'll see every organization you belong to.
  3. Select the one you want to switch to.

Each organization has its own appointments, users, settings, and billing — they're completely independent. Learn more in Managing Multiple Organizations.

What to explore first

Now that you know your way around, here are some recommended next steps:

  1. Create an appointment type if you haven't yet, or add more services.
  2. Invite your team so they can start managing their own schedules.
  3. Connect your calendar to prevent double-booking.
  4. Share your booking link so customers can start booking online.
