Calendar Overview
The Driive calendar gives you a complete picture of your team's schedule. It combines Driive appointments with events synced from Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook, so you can see everything in one place — no tab-switching required.
Where to find the calendar
You'll find the calendar in your sidebar navigation under Manage > Calendar. Click it to open the full calendar view. If you've just signed in, the calendar defaults to the current week.
What you'll see on the calendar
The calendar displays two types of events:
Driive appointments
These are the bookings you manage through Driive — customer appointments, on-site visits, and jobs your team is assigned to. Each Driive appointment shows:
Appointment title — The appointment type name (e.g., "Roof Inspection").
Time block — The start time and duration, displayed as a colored block on the calendar.
Assigned team member(s) — Who is responsible for the appointment.
Status indicator — A visual cue showing whether the appointment is scheduled, in progress, or complete.
Click any Driive appointment to open its detail panel, where you can view contact information, notes, and assigned team members.
Synced external events
When you or your team members connect a Google Calendar or Outlook account, those events appear on the Driive calendar as well. External events help prevent double-booking by showing when team members are already committed.
External events appear with a distinct visual style so you can easily tell them apart from Driive appointments. They display:
Event title — The name from your external calendar.
Time block — The scheduled time.
Source indicator — A small icon showing whether the event came from Google or Outlook.
Tip: External events are read-only in Driive. To edit them, open your Google or Outlook calendar directly.
Sidebar controls
The left sidebar on the calendar page gives you quick access to:
Date picker — A mini calendar for jumping to any date.
Team member list — Checkboxes to show or hide specific team members on the calendar. Select one, several, or all.
View switcher — Toggle between Month, Week, Day, and Schedule views.
These controls let you zero in on exactly the slice of the schedule you need, whether that's one technician's Tuesday or the whole crew's month.
How Driive and external events work together
Driive uses synced external events for availability checking. When a customer tries to book through your booking page, Driive checks both your availability settings and your connected calendar. If a team member has an external event during a time slot, that slot won't be offered to the customer.
This means your team can continue using their personal or company calendars without worrying about scheduling conflicts.
