Filtering and Searching
When you have dozens (or hundreds) of appointments in your pipeline, filters help you zero in on exactly what you need. Driive provides several filter options that work across both the kanban board and list view.
Available filters
The filter bar sits at the top of the appointments page, just below the page header. You can combine multiple filters to narrow your results:
Appointment type
Filter by the service being booked (e.g., "Roof Inspection," "HVAC Tune-Up"). Select one or more appointment types to show only matching appointments.
Status
Filter by appointment status. Choose from:
Requested
Pending
Needs Scheduled
Scheduled
In Progress
Completed
Cancelled
Rejected
You can select multiple statuses at once — for example, show only Scheduled and In Progress appointments.
Team member
Filter by the team member assigned to the appointment. Useful for managers who want to see a specific technician's workload, or for team members who want to focus on their own jobs.
Date range
Filter appointments by their scheduled date. Driive offers several quick presets:
Preset | What it shows |
|---|---|
Upcoming | All appointments from today forward. |
Past | All appointments before today. |
Today | Only today's appointments. |
This Week | Appointments within the current week (Sunday to Saturday). |
This Month | Appointments within the current calendar month. |
Last 30 Days | Appointments from the past 30 days. |
Next 30 Days | Appointments in the next 30 days. |
You can also pick a custom date range by selecting specific start and end dates from the calendar picker.
Using filters
Click the filter button or filter dropdown for the category you want (e.g., "Status").
Select one or more options.
The appointments page updates immediately to show only matching results.
You can apply multiple filters at the same time. For example, filter by Status: Scheduled + Team Member: Mike + Date Range: This Week to see all of Mike's scheduled appointments for the week.
Active filter chips
When you have active filters, they appear as chips below the filter bar. Each chip shows the filter type and value:
Status: Scheduled — Showing only scheduled appointments.
Team: Mike Johnson — Showing only Mike's appointments.
Date: Mar 1 - Mar 31 — Showing appointments in March.
To remove a single filter, click the X on its chip.
To clear all filters at once, click Clear All (if available) or remove each chip individually.
View toggle
The view toggle in the top-right corner lets you switch between the kanban board and list view. Your active filters are preserved when you switch views — you will not lose your filter selections.
Tips for effective filtering
Start your morning with "Today" + "Scheduled." This gives you a clean view of what is on the books for today.
Use "Upcoming" + "Needs Scheduled" to catch stragglers. These are appointments that have been approved but not yet scheduled. Filtering for them helps you avoid losing leads.
Filter by team member for one-on-ones. When reviewing a team member's performance or workload, filter by their name to see all their assignments.
Combine status and date filters for reporting. For example, filter by "Completed" + "Last 30 Days" to see how many jobs your team closed this month.
The kanban board respects filters too. Applying a filter does not force you into list view -- the kanban lanes will only show cards that match your filter criteria.
